Selina M. Garcia was born and raised in Espanola, New Mexico. She attended New Mexico State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics, being one of only a small handful of women in the program. During which time she interned at Los Alamos National Laboratories where she worked in supercomputing, and networking. She attended St. Mary’s University School of Law where she served as a staff writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice and Vice-President of the Intellectual Property Law Association. She also interned at Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid where she learned the importance of effective legal representation for underserved communities.

Selina has worked in mass tort, business law, contracts, and intellectual property. Her engineering background gives Selina a unique approach and perspective on effectively managing and solving legal issues. She incorporates the precise and strict procedural methods acquired through her study of aerospace engineering to all facets of her work in law.

In her free time Selina enjoys spending time with her dog Huck, biking, baking, and cheering for the Spurs and Denver Broncos.
